Sonja was taking pictures of everything she found interesting in the streets of San Fransisco, while walking with her aunt Monica. Sonja was taking a picture of a homeless man when her vision got foggy and a image turned up in her head. She saw the homeless man, in some sort of shelter, drinking coffee, and with clean clothes on, and it looked like he had shovered too. The image faded away and Sonja smiled to herself. Her mind made these pictures all the time lately, mostly of the people she saw or met. And she thought it was only her imagination doing a trick on her. Atleast this picture had been a nice one, not all of them were. Sonjas stomach growled and she looked around and saw a cute little cafe that she quickly took a picture of. She tucked at her aunts sleave and looked up at her. " Mona, mona can we please go eat at that cafe, my belly says im hungry, and that cafe looks so nice" Sonja said to her aunt and gave her a big smile. She looked at the people walking around them and smiled. She liked this city, and hoped they maybe could stay here forever, or somewhere near it. She had never liked moving around all the time, living on motels and all that, but she never complained, she knew it was important for her aunt to get the garland curse reversed, and so did Sonja.

Monica turned toward her niece and simply smiled, she hadn't seen her niece this bubbly in months. It was a nice change. "Of course, we can order whatever you want. She said in a cheerful voice, it had taken awhile to get used to the living arrangements after... She had really no idea how to take care of a young girl for a night, let alone an extended period of time. There was an, well...adjustment period. But now everything seemed better...to Monica anyway.
Monica walked behind Sonja as she entered the cafe. It seemed like a nice little restaurant, even by her standards. It was clean, well lit and had a warm earthly feeling to it. Maybe this was a good sign for San Fransisco, every other town always felt wrong to Monica like she knew it wasn't where she was going to find aid. But that was probably because she always recalled the bad experience of the first day after she got the bad news.
She hoped this would be different, now more than ever. She had a reason to die already, but now she had a reason to live.

Sonja happily jumped over the road with her aunt right behind her. She entered the cafe with a big smile and a growling stomach. she looked around, it was a nice little place and Sonja imediatly loved it. She quickly took alot of pictures of the cafe and the people inside it. Then she got up to the counter and sat on a stole, or well climbed up on it. "I really really want that lunch steak" Sonja said to her aunt. Sonja had allways loved meat, just like her father had, and she wanted it rare usually, her aunt knew that. As sonja liked to say it, she liked it to still be able to say muuuuuhh if it was a cow. She looked around and saw many diffrent people. One looked to be an indian, Sonja pictured him with a feather in his hair. Another looked to be european. Then a few school girls and boys and two men looking like they were on a buisness lunch. Sonja gave them all a big smile if they saw that she looked at them.

"Sure thing," Monica said with a smile as she ordered from the waitress over the counter. The steak of Sonja and the fish for herself. Quietly, she walked back over to her niece where she took a seat on the girls left. "So how do you like your new school? Not getting into any trouble are you?" She asked in a caring yet stern voice. It had taken quite a few strings to get Sonja out of Sacred Heart and into Haywood. She disliked having to move Sonja from city to city, apartment into apartment. But it was necessary. "You remember not to say a word about you-know-what, ok? Not even to your teachers, right?" Monica always feared that someone might want to take Sonja away from her, from their family. If the wrong person found out then...she shuddered to think the rest. She smiled to the young waitress as she came with their orders.

Sonja was looking around in the cafe while Monica ordered, but turned her head towards her aunt when she spoke to her. "Yeah Haywood is okay, but i dont talk to any of the other kids there, and yes im behaving perfectly as allways. I just wish i could be home schooled." Sonja said to her aunt. Sonja nodded when Monica talked about their secret. "I havent told it to anyone at all, and i wont tell it to anyone, so dont worry, you of all should know im good at keeping secrets." Sonja said to her Aunt and smiled when the waitress came with their food. Sonja imediatly dug into her steak, cooked perfectly rare as she liked it. The steak was good, and it quickly stopped Sonjas hunger, but she kept eating untill it was all gone. She pushed the empty plate away and smiled to her aunt. " Have you found anyone who can help us yet??" Sonja asked her aunt. They both wanted the curse to be undone, but had not yet found anyone who could help them.
