Work had been easy. Her last case had taken her and some other agents back at the office some time to crack. Needless to say it wasn't a needle in a haystack after Kasha joined their team. But now she was stuck here. Salem, Massachusetts. Just for the moment though. Figured that she might as well stick around for a while since Halloween was just around the corner. Whats so bad about wanting to have a good time? The boss did happen to give her her vacation early. Maybe she might even take a few sick days. Considering she still shows up to work when she's sick. Lieing wouldn't hurt. Well it would but not unless they didn't know. Its not like she talks to her co-workers out of work so Kasha's in the clear for the time being.

This place is actually quite beautiful. The leaves have been changing color for quite some time but they still decorated the trees that lined the streets. Bright yellows, mixed with shades of orange, red, and brown. The temperature had risen by a great amount since she got here a week ago. There are many buildings that have been built many lifetimes ago. Tourists have arrived on bus after bus for he past several days. It almost seemed like there was a never ending number of them. At this moment an average person wouldn't know how adorable but lonesome it could be once Halloween has past and awaiting the for the next year. The only thing that completely sucks about Salem is motor vehicles. Getting from one end of town to the other took a lifetime and a half! And parking spaces, rare to find and expensive too. She regretted bringing her Roush Mustang with her. Despite all of the annoying qualities this place tended to being the people were rather interesting. Some dressed as if it were Halloween already. Or maybe thats how they dressed all of the time. Who knows but once you've seen one costume, you've seen them all.

This day has been a nightmare. First off she got a ticket for being a minute late in a parking space, she lost her companies cell phone, and she has misplaced her Ipod. Her life. Heels made a soft clicking sound as they made contact with the brick sidewalk. A little stroll downtown would clear her mind. Wouldn't want to start her vacation all pissed off. That wouldn't be much of a vacation.

[Jackson E. Crane]

He straightened his red and black striped tie before loosening it a bit. Sometimes ties can be a hassle when one was trying to breathe, and at that moment, Jackson definitely needed to breathe. The man shook his head, eyes scanning the surrounding that consisted of roads and autumn colors. Again the man shook his head and headed downtown, walking at a brisk pace. All the while his hand went into the pocket of his sports jacket, withdrawing a lighter and a cigarette.

He knew it was a bad habit, but that was for humans. Jackson placed the cigarette on his lips and lit it, breathing the filtered smoke. He did not remember when or how he started smoking but it always brought a sense of comfort to him. Once again the man shook his head. He was getting melancholic again, like always when Halloween drew near.

Jackson walked down the brick sidewalk, head held down and not really look at where he was going. He was just wandering as usual, without any destination without purpose. Things had been quite and he was feeling bittersweet about it. On on hand, he could finally relax and not worry about anything coming to kill him but on the other... He was reminiscing and remembering memories that he still did not want to remember. Jackson sighed, his brisk pace turning into lazy strides and still he had his head held down. If he were to look up however, he would have realized that he was on a collision course with someone.

Time traveled pretty fast. She'd already been through a handful of stores and it was near 2 in the afternoon. Kasha had only just realized the time due to the fact that she was looking at her Iphone at the moment with a medium hot chocolate form Dunkin' Donuts in the other hand. Every other couple of steps or seconds she'd check to make sure someone wasn't headed her way. Her Iphone can be rather addicting. There are way to many apps then necessary for one being. The only app that really catches her interest is where you have to stack ice cream scoops on top of a cone/other ice cream scoops. She isn't much of an ice cream freak, since its not all that great for ones figure, but the game is just as addicting as sugar to a fat kid. You just cannot separate the two beings.

Kasha managed to glance up in the last moment. But it was too late. She had bumped into some poor soul, at least she didn't spill any of her hot chocolate on them. Though she had managed to do so to herself. "Jesus!" She grumbled at her stupidity. Seriously, how much of an idiot could she be? The day has been screwed from the get go. Quickly she shoved her phone into her purse. Now with her free hand she pulled the bottom of her shirt slightly away from her body seeing how that part is rather damp with burning hot chocolate. Finally she looked up at the person whom she bumped into. A warmhearted but embarrassed smile spread across her lips. "I'm so sorry. Wasn't watching where I was going. I didn't get any hot chocolate on your shirt did I?" Eyes becoming doe like when she was concerned. Looking up at the fellow she bumped into she couldn't help but take note that she couldn't of looked more like an idiot in front of. Though its just her luck busting her ass in front of a hot guy. But something seemed different. She couldn't quite place her finger upon it besides the fact that his aura appeared a reddish shade of orange. Its been a long time since that color has been seen. Usually somebody dangerous possesses this quality. Whats wrong with living life on the edge?
