Lawrence was walking through the Sao Paolo International Airport in Brazil. He didn't know portuguese, nor did he care that he didn't know portuguese. In fact the whole reason of this travel had been because someone was paying him to do this job. Not a lot of money, but enough to get him there and back again.
*A week ago, Sewers in Downtown L.A.*
"Where are ya damn demon?" said Law as he searched through the darkness of the tunnels, the smell making it really hard to concentrate.
He heard a sound and turned around only to see a rat. He was losing concentration and that wasn't a good thing. He kept moving until he reached the end of the tunnel. It was empty...
"Catch me if you can.... Hunter..." said a voice from the other side of the sewers. Lawrence simply started running trying to catch up with the demon.
"Damn it!" said Lawrence as he failed to catch it and was all alone again.
*Two weeks ago, San Francisco, California*
"So your son was playin' 'round here when he disappeared?" asked Lawrence to the family. There was a smell of sulphur, he knew that meant no good.
"Ya didn't see anythin'?" asked Lawrence again.
The mother was crying her heart out, the little kid was 4 years old apparently from looking at the pictures. The father tried to console her but it wasn't enough. Lawrence knew the kid was probably dead by now, but he had to be optimistic in front of them.
"We saw some smoke, so we thought he was playing with fire, or accidentally got burnt or something, but he was gone when we arrived" said the Father.
Lawrence didn't know exactly what it was, he needed to do some research, but there was no blood on the scene which meant that the kid was taken somewhere else.
*Present time, Brazil*
The damned abiku had to live in Brazil, he was called Bicho-Papão here. All his research and the small hints brought him here, he had found some plants that only grow in Brazil in the sewers, and in the kid's house.
Unfortunately for him Brazil was huge and he didn't know where the hell to start looking for the demon or the kid, he only had one picture of the kid and that he probably arrived here a week ago, if he wasn't already torn into pieces by the demon.
He walked out of the airport and grabbed a taxi to the city, where he entered a restaurant and tried to order a cheeseburger, he hated airplane food and refused to eat it so he was starving. Unfortunately for him he didn't know any Portuguese at all.
"I want a damn cheeseburger!" he yelled to the employee in his thick southern accent. "Damn this place to hell, I'm starving, just give me whatever the hell food ya have!"

There wasn't anything that could be done lately. No jobs called out. Though trying to just go with the flow and catch them as they come hasn't really been working. She's more of the type to rather be busy with too much work than have no work at all. All this free time upon her hands isn't good. The street was crowded with people. The smell of meat filled the air. Causing her to automatically bit her lower lip. Food is a necessity from time to time.
Opening the glass door allowed for the bell to jingle. Surprisingly her favorite restaurant hadn't seemed busy at all. Only a few regulars sat by the large windows. It didn't take long to notice what they were staring at. The dirty blond man stood in front of the register. Yelling at the employee in English. It took her a moment to comprehend what he was saying. Walking briskly up to his side she spoke with a polite smile to the young woman on the other side of the short counter, "Desculpe suas maneiras. Gostaria de um hambúrguer de queijo por favor." The young waitress smiled and called out back to the men on the grills. "um buger de queijo."
Leaning her back against the counter Kasha finally got the chance to look over the American. Eyes found his attractive face quickly, brow raised before speaking directly to him, this time in english. "Take it you didn't study Portuguese on your way here. Seems like it would of done you some good." A kind smile spread across her lips while she spoke with a light accent. The people around them walked away once they had noticed that the situation was now under control. Her expression never changed even though she had heard some nasty comments about Americans as several costumers passed by. She slid a hand across her face to move pieces of her long, wavy brown hair that were obstructing her view of the man before her.

"Well thanks for savin' me Lady in shinin' armor, but I had ta rush ta come here and I didn' really had planned 'nything out" said Lawrence to the girl. "So it ain' as if I had much time ta climate my self to Brazil..."
A mosquito was around him, the bug had apparently came from the open door and had managed to avoid everyone but Lawrence, who took his hand to his neck smashing the little bug. "Damn mosquitoes" he said as he wiped out the remains with a napkin.
He didn't want to seem ungrateful, because she had actually helped him a lot apparently someone was making his food back there. But he also didn't like the idea of being rescued by a girl. A much younger girl who seemed out of a Swimsuit Edition.
"While I appreciate the help" started Lawrence. "I could've gotten food by my own thank you very much..."
He knew he was perhaps cranky from the humidity, mosquitoes and not being able to understand a damned thing people around here talked, but he also knew that he needed to find the damn demon in a country completely unfamiliar, why the hell did he agreed to come here in the first place?
"But I guess, I'm lucky ya know english and portuguese" said Lawrence to her. "I'm Lawrence, and who are ya? Cause I don' think callin' ya lady in shining armor is too short..."

Head nodded slight as she understood. His case seemed rather different. Usually people that deside to come to this country are looking for a good time, basicly to party at every chance they get. From what she's seen, her opinion is that the majority if those that come here that are not of portuguese decent are male. She's only seen a handful of other woman coming over that are alone and not married or at least with someone.
As he was swatting at that mosquito, a smile pulled at her lips. Rethinging the situation she bit her lower lip instead and looked away. Gaze finally returned to his once he removed the critter. "It helps if you avoid sugar. Thats what they are after. The sugar in your blood." Her stance straightened to her full height of 5'5 as she crossed her arms. "Oh really? I'd like to see you try getting your own food. At least in this neighborhood."Leaning closer she spoke softly "Unless your carrying a gun of some sort then you'd do fine" A polite smile was given before backing off. Though she loved this part of town there are a countless number of gangs. Including a vast number of missing persons reports. Seperating those reports from actual missing people, then gang related, then trying to figure out if they disappeared in the supernatural ways could be rather hard. Her job has been asking her to look into things of that such. Which is odd since she's joined with the F.B.I. but then again they must have there reasons.
"I don't mind helping Americans. You can just call me Kasha. It nice to meet you. Need any more help? Seems like you have something on your mind. Other than the fact that this place is most likely humid like a hell hole compared to where ever your from." Funny thing is, this humid hell hole happens to be her favorite place. Due to the fact that the temperature stays between 75-100. If her job required her to go anywhere where the temperature gets below 70, she's freezing all the time. To make matters worse she tends to shake like a leaf

"I'll keep that in mind" said Lawrence about the sugar, though he never really watched what he ate a lot. He didn't have to yet, so he saw no need for it yet. And even if he hated mosquitoes, he hated not eating something he liked even more. "But I think I'll pass on that"
"Yeah well, ya came in a little sooner then" said Lawrence. "My next move was goin' to jump over the counter and search around the kitchen for the ingredients to see if they caught my drift"
"The gun would have been my third guess" said Lawrence, who really had no gun here. He had to leave his entire arsenal back in America, so he had to remember go buy some guns and anti-demon stuff. He didn't know how different this demon was from other demons, other than he was ethnically different. But he guessed that he was killed the same way. Every time he encountered a demon he always tried to get information out of them, but up until now he hadn't had the luck of keeping them alive for too long. He didn't know if a Brazilian demon would know much about his wife, but he never knew, coincidences were known to happen.
"American huh? What gave me away, the cheeseburger or the thick accen' " he joked. Then she asked if he needed more help, well that would prove handy. Maybe she had seen the kid or demon around, never hurt to start asking now, the sooner he found it the sooner he would be on his plane out of here.
"As a matter of fact ya can help me" said Lawrence taking the photo of the kid. "I'm lookin' for this kid, he's missin' and his parents want him back"
He put the photo on the table, the kid was about 4 or 5, he forgot which age. He had light brown hair and blue eyes, and in the photo he was wearing a blue t-shirt and red shorts. He wasn't smiling in the picture, he looked rather serious actually.
"Oh and if ya know a gun shop somewhere 'round here, I wouldn' mind if ya told me" he said. "Don' worry I'm not plannin' on shootin' anyone..." said Law, though he had to finish that sentence on his mind. 'human'.
"It's just for protection" he added trying his best not to look suspicious.

Kasha sized him up during her debate in helping this new fellow. "With me around I'm not too sure that you would be able to get that far. Pulling the gun I mean. Your not the only one withing range that has one." She assumed he did since he mentioned the fact about pulling one out. Her Taurus 99 rested on her lower back between her and her snug jeans. Well hidden of course. The light purple and black plaid shirt, looser than her jeans hid the butt of the gun.
A grin came easy when she spoke next, "Actually the rudeness had given it away. All the Americans that I have delt and continue to deal with tend to be complete jackasses. No offence. For some reason you don't give off a jackass aura. Just an impatiant one, though I'm not here to judge." Hopefully he wouldn't take it wrong. If so then it sucks for him. Kasha usually doesn't care what others think. That is unless the person is dear to her but if not then she usually could give a rats ass what their opinions are upon her being.
Brown eyes glanced down to the picture. Something clicked. Instantly she knew that he was on the same page as him. Either that or the boys parents had hired him to just search for the boy, in a non-supernatural way. But she knew who had taken the boy. Well its more of a what not a who. "First off, I've seen this boy..in my line of work. Just for a moment before I got left with this by his..abductor" the last word she stumbled upon. Wasn't sure if that was the correct word to use. God english was hell of a lot harder than Portuguese, at least in her mind. She pulled up her sleeve to reveal a long gash down her arm from the critter. "well I've seen his abductor or whatever the word you Americans use. Ha, not the friendliest of critters that I've stumbled across. Now for that gun shop that you seem to desire so much, the only one in town isn't the safest of sorts. Its a whole different world around here. Sure I can take you too it if you'd like, though I have several that I just purchased if you'd care to take a look. All new and some barely even used yet." She could use a little money in her pocket. Not like she doesn't have any money since its least of her problems. Kasha already makes enough since the Americans are paying her in their currancy but over here its more money, plus she does some free lance stuff for her government which pays pretty well. It helps to be a good gun hand. Playing with the big boys can be entertaining, they just can't seem to understand the fact that someone such as herself, being a woman and all, can do just as good or even better than the majority of them. Guess it hits a nerve. There's nothing wrong with a little competition.

"Look at that, the girl has some balls" said Lawrence to her as she said about shooting him first. He found that hilarious to tell the truth, but whatever, he wasn't about to argue to her. It was just really funny the way she said it. Women who were though always wanted men to know they were, he couldn't care less about it to be honest. He would find it hot, though she was probably too young for him so he wouldn't even try to go there.
"None taken... I'd like to see how ya behave when people don' understand what ya're sayin', maybe ya wouldn' be such a sweetheart in that case" said Lawrence defending his behavior. Then the hamburger seemed to arrive for him and he was ready for it. He wasn't expecting it to be as good as the american ones but he had to eat something. He gave a big bite to it and then turned to the woman, who was speaking again.
"Well tie me up and call me scotty" said Lawrence in surprise as the girl said she had seen the boy. "Ya've actually seen the boy and ya know about the abductor, must be my lucky day then"
"Thanks for the offer sweet cheeks, but I really don' have that much cash with me, I need a place where I can use credit card" said Lawrence, who planned to keep on using Mr. Yamaguchi's card until it was dry. "I would really need a translator though, and one that has seen the kid and knows about the demon holdin' him hostage seems like a pretty damn good one, so whatcha say?"

She had to look away for a moment, to be able to keep her cool. Its been a while since she has either been within an arms length or even been able to talk to a tall, dark, and handsome man. Thats all it took to get her addicted. Thats her week spot. Like crack to addict. As long as a guy is taller and handsome Kasha can easily become weak at the knees, personally age doesn't matter all that much. Seeing how her mother and father were almost 20 years apart. It just never bothered her all that much. Unless the person was balding or had a whole head of white hair then that would be a major problem. When the public sees a really old guy with a woman way to young for him, others automatically think that he's either supplying drugs, some sorta pimp daddy, or she's only in the picture because of the money. Lawrance hadn't seemed that much older. Well maybe a good 10 years but nothing like her parents difference.
Ignoring the interesting thoughts that just seem to be brewing from with in, Kasha spoke in response."oh you haven't even seen my nicest side. It's all how well you can act to get what you'd like. First time in America I didn't have a clue to anything. Though when you work for a high power they tend to teach you another language fairly well." Despite the fact that English was harder for her to learn than Spanish or her native tongue Portuguese the American government was pretty hasty at getting her to speak fluently. Took less than a week to be able to speak with hardly any accent. Soon enough writing and reading followed through. Her accent only thickens whenever she's been speaking either Spanish or Portuguese for an extended period of time such as weeks or months on end without coming into contact with someone that could speak English.
A brow raised with confusion when he spoke about calling him scotty. Kasha was quick to figure that it was probably just some silly old saying that she'd never understand in a million years. Different nationalities tend to have little things of the such that outsiders wouldn't be able to comprehend. Head nodded slightly before a chuckle escaped. "Don't see you doing any good by yelling at everyone even though being able to watch is rather entertaining. I don't mind translating as long as you promise not to do anything foolish at the gun shop down the street. They have no problem with killing you. Well us for that matter if you even look at them the wrong way. The owner has ties with the local cops; not that the cops in Brazil are half as good as American cops; but still they are bad news. Even for hunters." It didn't take much to figure that Lawrence is a hunter. Whom else would be able to talk about demon's without getting silly or with a straight face and meaning every word. "If you can be a good boy I'll help." A warm hearted smile was given. Kasha could trust anybody. She tends to take people's word and if they break it, its nearly impossible to regain that trust back.

"Well ya'd have to show me that some other time then" said Lawrence to her about the nicest side. Then she said she worked for a higher power, that made him chuckle, he didn't know if she meant the government, but the way she said it made it look like she was working for God or something of the sorts.
"Hey, ya never know when a good yellin' is needed" said Lawrence. "Besides I can be pretty convincin' myself"
"But if ya don' mind translatin' then that's always good" said Law to her. "And I won't do anythin' foolish, but if thin's get rough, don't expect me to just stay around doin' nothin', cause I won', ya say they have no problem with killin' me, well that makes two of us..." said Lawrence to the girl. He really had no problem whatsoever defending himself and if someone so much as threatened him, he would give them hell, even if he was disadvantaged. He had beaten arrogant people's butt many times before and wouldn't mind doing it again.
"Well they haven' met this hunter yet" said Lawrence who still would try to get it done by the peaceful way first. Hoping he wouldn't have to cause trouble in Brazil. Specially since he didn't need the attention.
Then she said that if he could be a good boy she would help. Lawrence didn't know if it was people in brazil, or his imagination but from her body language, it was almost as if she was attracted to him. He reminded himself again that she was way too young for him, though she did look very good indeed, and brushed up the thoughts he was getting to his head. "I'll be a good boy, don' worry 'bout that" said Lawrence. "I'll let ya do all the talkin' and only react if spoken to, that way ya can be sure I'll keep my mouth shut lon' enough, what do ya say?"

"Yeah you sure showed that employee what you wanted" Kasha couldn't help but laugh. There was no doubt that he could be convincing. Surely earlier he hadn't been as demanding as he could be. Men seemed to possess that great ability. Its like the ability to get what they want is programmed into their genes. The same way that aggression is programmed into dogs. Just comes naturally though the strength of it depends on the way that they were raised.
Returning to all seriousness she spoke again with a thicker accent, the damned thing comes and goes which bugs the crap out of her. "That sounds like a great plan of action" Kasha was prepared to go to the gun shop down the street right then and there until she remembered that Lawrance was still eating the cheese burger that he had ordered. Looking at the burger then up to his face before speaking again. "Once you are done I can take you there."
Hands found their way into the front pockets of her dark though faded jeans, thumbs resting outside of them as she still leaned against the counter. Her usual stance. Kasha wore a grey tank top with her wavy hair down and the usual eye liner. Noting fancy just plain as usual. It isn't like she was expecting anything interesting to happen. Watching several people pass by that were either ordering food or just leaving. She wasn't staring them down or anything, just simply observing them with her perifial vision. A trait that you pick up when working with supernatural beings.

"Hey, don' get all smart mouth on me, I would have wanted what I wanted eventually" said Lawrence defending what was left of his honor after he got rescued by apparently Brazil's next top model. He was confident he would have though.
Then she was saying that it seemed like a good plan, of course, she was doing most of the work. "But when we get out of the shop I'll take the lead, don' get me wron' I love a lady on top just like the next guy, but I like to alternate" he wasn't sure if his sex joke had been appropriate, but he truly didn't care.
She was waiting for him to finish his meal, god he hated people just looking him eat, if she must wait there sitting with him, at least make some conversation. "Well, don' be all work and no play, tell me somethin' 'bout yourself, like how do ya know about hunters?"
She was watching people pass, he did that some times, though not often, he was more of a... Live and let live kinda guy, as long as people didn't interfere with his life in some way he couldn't care less about them.

She shrugged. "There's no doubt that you could of gotten what you wanted but im mighty sure that it would come with a price." She hadn't wanted to draw out the fact that she was indeed being a wise ass. Dwelling on certian moments are never a good thing to do so while inhaling momentarially she focused on what he had to say next.
Kasha rolled her eyes when an ear-to-ear smile pulled at her lips. Men always seem to be able to lighten the mood with a sex related joke. Either that or they just always seem to have a sex joke prepaired at all times. She wasn't offended at all. In fact, two could play at that game.. Well obviously there needs to be two people to complete the game of sex but joking around wise, aww well you get the point. Looking back at Lawrence with a straight face, "Giving you full rein isn't a problem with me but you might want to get your facts right. Women hate the top, who says we'd like to be in control 24/7? But there are those exceptions.." A grin creeped upon her lips. Doing a rather good job of keeping a straight face, too bad she sucks at poker.
Wow conversation changed quickly to her direction. Clearing her throat softly before choosing her next words carefully. "I ah.. don't like to share that. Only a select few know. A simpler and less personal version would basically be that something, well, supernatural murdered a close family member when I was younger. I've been helping the latin countries, your's, and mine ever since." Took her a moment to clear her thoughts to the present, wouldn't want to get all caught up in the past..again. "What about you?" She spoke softly. Asking anyone how they have gotten envolved with the supernatural is always a touchy subject. Seeing how you cannot happly become involved.

"Yeah well, I'm fairly certain of my skills and I'm willin' to take my chances" said Lawrence about the price thing. After the hell he had been through, he didn't really care to die. Though of course he would prefer to take that Demon son of a bitch out before he went. This girl might think she was good, and maybe she was, but he wasn't bad at his job either.
"Right..." said Lawrence about the girls thing. "Maybe girls down here are like that, but where I come from they sure like to be the boss of ya" he said about american girls. Sex was their tool, they thought just cause they were hot and practically all men were horny that they had the upper hand, and they did mostly. Though he would have never known, he had married young and to his first girlfriend, so he hadn't been on the date scene much, and since her death he had been so busy killing stuff that he had not thought about it.
"Demon killed my family" said Lawrence. "Short 'n simple" he said not wanting to talk more about it. He showed the wedding ring still on his hand and nodded. "Anyway, what do you know about the demon that took the kid?"

A wave of sadness for him washed over her the moment he spoke about his family being killed. Having anyone that you are close to die is hard to deal with, but killed. Now thats a whole different ball park. Kasha could relate to how he must feel. Not wanting to waste too much time on the subject she softly said "I'm sorry" before dismissing that part of their conversation. The fact that each hunter has a horror story to how they gotten into the business of hunting the supernatural kind is utterly depressing. If you look at it from a far angle.
Having to take a moment to look away, watching a little girl in rugged clothes walk out the door with her father. In this neck of the woods of her country, the people don't care about money as much as they do family. Its all about family.. Getting back on topic full attention drifted to him. "All I know if that its a Abiku but you'd call it a Boggyman. Haven't really been tracking it until two days ago. I was in Rio attempting to invade a vamp's nest but my heart went out to the little boy." The poor kid must be scared out of his mind. Well that is if he's still alive.

"Ya've got nothin' to be sorry about sweet cheeks, it's not like ya killed them and nothin' ya could've done 'bout it" said Lawrence to her. "So don't be sorry"
He hated being pitied by others, what happened to him was a shame, but he helped prevent shit like that happen to other people now and that was what mattered. That and the fact that he would get his revenge, he was going to find what killed his wife and murder it along side with any friends or family, if demons even had that of course.
Then she was talking about the boogeyman, yeah he knew it was the same type of demon, though apparently this one resided here and had a thing for kidnapping American kids for lunch. He guessed that even demons had cultural gastronomic preferences. Though Demonic diets was not something he was hoping to give much thought to.
"So Vampires and demons in Rio, great..." said Lawrence. "Let's add a werewolf and we can brin' Michael Jackson back to life next time there's a full moon..." he joked.
"What ya're tellin' me is that we need to be prepared for Vampires and Demons alike... I don' like the smell of that, I'm not one for taking my chances, one on one I'm game but when they gang up on ya it doesn' throw up good odds" said Lawrence, who had never killed a vampire before actually and didn't know what to expect, though from other hunters he knew that a stake did nothing unless it had dead man's blood on it and to kill them it was best to cut the head off. "Hopefully the demon is away from the Vampire zone by now..."
